Submitting your course for approval should only take no more than a few hours for a response, but we ask for 48 hours.
You can make changes to your course once it is live, just keep in mind that adding lessons, instructor-evaluated assignments, to do items, or terms will require students who have NOT completed the course to go back to the lesson that is new or has been changed and complete that lesson.
It is very easy to view and search students. Instructors don't have access to students' e-mail addresses, but can e-mail them using the web-based system.
You can send announcements and promotions to current students, but keep in mind that they can easily opt-out, so don't abuse this feature.
The Q&A tool makes a great support system as well as FAQ.
Mark completed testimonials as "do not use," "secondary," or "primary."
How often do you it is okay to e-mail students? Does it depend on the message? What do you think?
What do you think some of the most common questions would be from prospective students?
What are some of your plans for marketing your course?
Once your course is complete and live, come back here and announce your course in the discussion section. Perhaps you can offer a special promotion code to other instructors in exchange for their feedback on your course?
Answer one of the following questions found in the "Lesson Discussion Questions" section using the discussion section below, and respond to/comment on at least one student's post. Comment on a post that has no comments yet, if possible.
