Uncomfortable Ideas Book Trailer ()

This is a short, one-minute video that gets the job done.

Logically Fallacious: The Ultimate Collection of Over 300 Logical Fallacies (Academic Edition) Book Trailer ()

This is a much longer, five-minute video. I generally don't suggest making trailers this long, but this is a cross between a trailer and an informercial.

Lesson Key Points

Book promotion videos are excellent marketing tools.
You can do-it-yourself, or pay a video production company to produce the video for you.
Videos should be under 5 minutes.
Videos should be entertaining or at least build curiosity.
Make sure the video includes your book branding and clear information on where to get the book.
On one extreme, you can create a live action video with human actors, or on the other extreme, you can simply show your book cover with some royalty-free music playing, and cycle through testimonials.
