About the ChatGPT for Students: Learning, Not Cheating Course

ChatGPT for Students: Learning, Not Cheating is a practical Education course that shows students how to use AI as a study partner without crossing academic boundaries. You will learn how to use AI responsibly to study better, think deeper, and protect your academic integrity while building stronger reading, research, writing, and revision habits.

Use ChatGPT Responsibly To Strengthen Your Learning

  • Understand the difference between ethical learning support and academic misconduct
  • Learn prompting strategies that guide explanation, feedback, practice, and deeper thinking
  • Use ChatGPT to support reading, research planning, essay development, and exam revision
  • Create a personal AI study code that protects your authorship, evidence, and honesty

This course teaches students how to use ChatGPT as an ethical learning tool, not a shortcut around real Education.

ChatGPT for Students: Learning, Not Cheating begins with the foundations of responsible AI study. You will learn what ChatGPT is, what it is not, and why your institution’s AI policy matters. The course explains how to recognize the line between learning support and academic misconduct, with clear guidance on authorship, evidence, honesty, and student responsibility.

You will then build core ChatGPT study skills that help you learn more actively. Instead of asking for answers, you will practice prompting for explanations, using ChatGPT as a Socratic tutor, turning confusing topics into clear study maps, and creating practice questions, quizzes, and flashcards. These workflows help you use AI responsibly to study better, think deeper, and protect your academic integrity.

The course also covers reading, research, and writing with integrity. You will learn how to summarise readings without replacing careful reading, evaluate AI answers for accuracy and bias, plan research without inventing sources, develop essay structures while keeping your own argument, and improve drafts without losing your voice. By the end, you will have practical habits for using AI in Education with confidence, independence, and ethical judgment.
