About this lesson

This lesson orients learners to the CISA exam as a professional judgment exam, not a memorization test. It explains the current exam structure, the five job practice domains, and how domain weighting should influence study priorities.

Learners also practice the IS auditor mindset: independent, risk-based, evidence-driven, control-focused, and business-aware. The lesson sets expectations for how Professor David Grant will approach later lessons without going deeply into audit planning, governance, operations, resilience, or security topics that belong in later sections.
