About this lesson

In this lesson, students get comfortable with the Google Sheets workspace before moving into formulas, analysis, automation, and reporting later in the course. The focus is on knowing where key tools live, how spreadsheets are structured, and how to move confidently through files, tabs, cells, menus, and collaboration controls.

By the end, students should be able to open or create a spreadsheet, identify the major parts of the interface, enter and edit basic data, manage sheets within a workbook, and understand how Google Sheets saves and shares work in a cloud-based environment.
