About this lesson

In this lesson, Professor Victor Zane introduces the Microsoft Teams workspace as a daily command center for communication and collaboration. Learners get oriented to the main navigation areas, the difference between chat and channels, how activity indicators work, and where meetings, files, apps, and settings fit into a normal workday.

The goal is not to master every feature at once. By the end, learners should be able to move around Teams confidently, recognize where different kinds of work belong, and avoid common beginner mistakes such as using private chat for work that should be visible in a channel.
