About this lesson

This lesson establishes the core mandate of a ministry leader: to faithfully steward people, mission, resources, trust, and organizational health under God’s calling. It frames ministry leadership as more than preaching, programming, or personal gifting; it is the disciplined work of serving people while building systems that help the ministry remain healthy, accountable, and effective.

Students will learn how to distinguish calling from role, authority from control, and spiritual leadership from operational neglect. The lesson introduces a practical leadership lens that will guide the rest of the course: every ministry leader must care for people, clarify mission, manage responsibility, build trust, and lead with integrity.
