About this lesson

This lesson defines what technical SEO actually does: it removes implementation barriers between a website and search engines. Technical SEO does not replace useful content, brand demand, links, or product quality, but it helps search engines discover, crawl, render, understand, index, and serve the right pages efficiently.

You will learn the practical boundaries of technical SEO, the main systems it touches, and how to think about technical work as risk reduction and opportunity creation. The lesson sets up the rest of the course by introducing crawlability, indexation, architecture, performance, structured data, and implementation governance without going deeply into each topic yet.
