About this lesson

This lesson introduces the difference between a vision and a goal, and shows why both are needed for purposeful planning. Vision gives direction by describing the future you want to create. Goals turn that direction into specific outcomes you can act on and measure.

You will learn how to tell whether a statement is a vision, a goal, or just a wish. You will also see how strong goals should connect back to a larger vision, stay realistic enough to act on, and remain flexible as circumstances change.

By the end of the lesson, learners should be able to define vision and goals clearly, explain how they work together, and begin shaping a meaningful personal or professional direction.
