Course Introduction and Planning Mindset

This opening lesson establishes the mindset behind effective project scheduling and planning. Learners will see how schedules support decisions, why realistic planning matters more than perfect planning, and how to approach a project timeline as a living coordination tool rather than a static document.

The lesson also introduces the major inputs and constraints that shape schedules, including scope, deadlines, dependencies, resources, and risk. By the end, students will understand the planning mindset needed before building task lists, estimating work, or assigning dates in later lessons.
